I am a Graphic Designer and a Photographer living in Mumbai.
I studied Applied Art (Commercial Art) in Rachna Sansad School of Art. Also, I have also studied print, graphic and web designing. I have worked as Web Designer for three years, where I created a medical website and also designed some interactive games in Flash. After that I worked as Graphic Visualiser in an E-learning company for seven years. There I worked as team member and later as team leader and reviewer, creating graphics, animations, demos and sims for Microsoft and Cengage e-learning courses.
From May 2010, I decided to take a break and started volunteering/freelancing. I volunteer at two NGOs - ACORN (India) which works for ragpicker children in Dharavi. For ACORN (India), I photograph at their events, design print related material and design/manage their website - Dharaviproject. I also volunteer for Awaaz-E-Niswaan (Voice of Women) which works on women's issues. For Awaaz-E-Niswaan, I support their Photography Team which consists of 8 women. Also I take painting, photography workshops and teach photography.
I love off-beat and candid photography. I love people photography. If you want non-typical photos of your loved ones and memorable moments of life, such as, birthdays and anniversaries, weddings and other functions and festivals, etc, give me a call. I love to design websites as per new web standards. If you think I'm good for your next project mail me. Check the details on my contact page.
